With the end of my campaign for County Commissioner in District 1 comes time for disappointment and appreciation. Of the two, I have much more of the latter. I am more grateful than I can properly express to my family, friends, volunteers, contributors and campaign team for their work and support during the run. When all is said and done, we gathered over 4,500 signatures, and I had the opportunity to engage with many people in a variety of settings to talk about the issues and opportunities facing District 1 and the Pikes Peak region. I learned a lot – about those issues and opportunities, about the political process, and about myself. Not bad for a few months work. Well done to all, and thank you. You are the best.
